1.Faculty Librarian Grade-I :
Pay Scale: (Rs.15600-39100) (Grade Pay Rs.6000)
Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with a consistently good academic record and atleast 3 years relevant experience
OR
(i) Master’s degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science/Social Science or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with a consistently good academic record;
(ii) Bachelor’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade with a consistently good academic record; and
(iii) Atleast 3 years relevant experience.
2.Training & Placement Officer :
Pay Scale: (Rs.15600-39100)(Grade Pay Rs.7600)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and Doctorate degree each in relevant engineering subject with at least five years relevant experience in teaching, research or professional work.
3.Administrative Officer (Computers) :
Pay Scale: (Rs.15600-39100)(Grade Pay Rs.6600)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Postgraduate degree in Science, Commerce or Management (with Computer courses) or Master’s degree in Computer Applications each with at least five years relevant professional experience (with knowledge of computers and their applications).
Programmer
Pay Scale: (Rs.9300-34800)(Grade Pay Rs.4600)
Qualification:
Master’s degree in Science in Mathematics or Physics (with Computer related courses) and Doctorate degree in relevant Computer Science subject with good academic record and with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level.
OR
Master’s degree in Computer Applications and Doctorate degree in relevant Computer Science subject with good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level.
OR
Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/ Engineering Systems/Elect. Engg. with at least 55% marks or equivalent at Bachelor’s/Master’s level and with Computer related experience of at least one year.
4.Professional Assistant (Library) :
Pay Scale: (Rs.9300-34800)(Grade Pay Rs.4200)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree with Diploma in Library Science OR Bachelor’s degree with certificate in Library Science and at least one year relevant experience.
5.Senior Technical Assistant (Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Engineering/ English/ Music/ Computers/ Multimedia/ Mech.Engg.) :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200)(Grade Pay Rs.2800)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree with at least two years relevant experience OR Diploma in Engineering with at least two years relevant experience.
6.Personal Assistant to President :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200)(Grade Pay Rs.2800)
Qualification:
Graduate with proficiency in shorthand and typing in English and Hindi or with atleast two years office experience.
7.Technician Grade-I (Chemistry/Zoology/Home Science) :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.2800)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree with atleast two years relevant experience. OR Diploma in Engineering with at least two years relevant experience.
8.Junior Technical Assistant (Mech.Engg.) :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.2400)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree with relevant subject(s) OR Intermediate with ITI certificate in relevant trade with at least two years relevant experience.
9.Junior Noter & Drafter/Cashier :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.2000)
Qualification:
Graduate with one year office experience OR Intermediate with three years office experience.
10.Technician Grade-III (Botany/Works Deptt.)/Technical Assistant Grade-III (LLL&E)/Key Punch Operator) :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.1900)
Qualification:
ITI Certificate in relevant trade OR Intermediate with at least two
years relevant experience.
11.Tabla Accompanist :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.1900)
Qualification:
Sangeet Visharad OR Intermediate with at least two years relevant experience.
12. Laboratory Assistant (Physics/Mech.Engg.) :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.1900)
Qualification:
Intermediate or High School with 5 years relevant experience.
13. Routine Clerk :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.1900)
Qualification:
Intermediate with 2 years office experience/Intermediate with first division/Bachelor’s degree.
14.Library Clerk :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.1900)
Qualification:
Intermediate with first division or Intermediate with two years office experience or Graduate. Good knowledge of Hindi & English typewriting. Preferably with certificate in Library Science.
15.Senior Clerk :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.2400)
Qualification:
Graduate with 2 years office experience/Intermediate with 5 years office experience. Knowledge of Hindi & English typewriting is desirable. Knowledge of Hindi essential.
16. Clerk :
Pay Scale: (Rs.5200-20200) (Grade Pay Rs.1900)
Qualification:
Graduate/Intermediate with first division/Intermediate or equivalent with atleast two years office experience. Knowledge of English & Hindi typing desirable.

Prescribed application forms and particulars of pay scales, qualifications, experience etc. can be had from the office of the REGISTRAR of the Institute on payment of Rs 50/- each (Rs.25/- for reserved post) mentioned under sections (A) above and Rs.30/- each (Rs.15/- for reserved posts) for those under sections (B) above, at the Institute counter or by post by sending a self addressed and stamped envelope of size 22×10 cms. with postal stamps of Rs.10/- for ordinary post or Rs.27/- for Registered post. Applications complete in all respects along with enclosures and registration fee of Rs 75/- each (Rs.37.50 for reserved post) mentioned under sections (A) above and Rs.30/- each (Rs.15/- for reserved posts) for those under sections (B) above must reach the Registrar of the Institute latest by 11.04.2011 (Monday).
