Indian Army 115th Technical Graduate Course- July 2012

Indian Army has announced notification for 115th Technical Graduate Course commencing from July 2012. Married and unmarried male Engineering Graduates including temporary Central and State Govt. servants. Serving personnel of the regular Army and Territorial Army (including officers of Territorial Army) along with serving personnel of Navy and Air Force for grant of permanent commission in the Indian Army are eligible to apply. Candidates age should be between 20-27 years for Engineering Graduates, between 23-27 years for AEC and 20-27 years for Military Farms. Following are details of specialisations, eligibility and application procedure:



1) Civil (including Mining or Construction): 27 posts
2) Electrical (including Electrical and Electronics): 08 posts
3) Mechanical (including Industrial or Industrial Engineering and Management): 08 posts
4) Automobile Engineering / Workshop Technology: 01 post
5) Production (Including Manufacturing, Metallurgical and Metallurgy Explosives): 02 posts
6) Rubber Technology, Plastic, Textiles: 01 post
7) Electronics (including Electronics and Instrumentation, Micro Electronics and Microwave/ Opt Electronics): 04 posts
8) Communication, Telecommunication (Including ECE / Electronics and communication): 06 posts
9) Architecture or Building Construction Technology: 02 posts
10) Computer Science and Engineering or Computer Science or M.Sc (Computer): 01 post
11) Technical Graduate Course (TGC-115) for Army Education Corpse (Men): 06 posts; Candidates should have MA in any one of these subjects: English, Economics, History, Music, Geography, Political Science, OR M.Sc in Physics or Maths. Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in 1st or 2nd division OR Foreign Languages such as Chinese, Burmese, Pushto, Tibetan, Dari, Arabic and Sinhala are also eligible. Applicants with Degree in Dairy Agriculture are eligible for TGC (Military Farms).

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be Final year engineering graduates or qualified engineering graduates. For Army Education Corps posts, candidates should have an M.A or M.Sc Degree in 1st or 2nd division in any one of the following subjects: English, Economics, History, Music, Geography, Political Science, Physics and Maths. Applicants should have physical standards as prescribed by the Indian Army.

Candidates should take two copies of the application print out after submitting it online. Completed application forms along with relevant copies of certificates should be sent to 'Additional Directorate General of Recruiting (Rtg-6), TGC, Section, West Block—lll, RK. Puram, New Delhi-110066. Last date for the receipt of print outs of applications is 10th January 2012.
