Post: Secretary General
Pay Scale: The Secretary General will be offered a salary and perquisites commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Essential Qualifications:-
The applicant should have a degree in a professional discipline such as Engineering or Medicine, or post graduate qualification in any science, management, economics, or social science disciplines.
The applicant should have at least 20 years of work experience and proven track record of working closely with industry, government, and other stakeholders in the areas of quality management, standards, and conformity assessment, and/or a leadership role in a national quality movement. Experience in risk management with respect to certification and accreditation would be an advantage. The applicant should have experience in leadership positions of heading organizations and leading teams.
Age: The applicant should be below 55 years of age.
Mode of Appointment: The initial appointment will be for 3 years, and extendable based on the rules of the Quality Council of India.
