The interview will be held on 3rd May 2012, at 10.30 AM in Technology Cell, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110 012 for posts at S No 1 and 2. Interview for post at S No 3 will be held on 5th May, 2012 at 10.30 AM at Grain Quality Lab, DMR Building, Cummings Laboratory, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
Eligible candidates fulfilling all the requirements should bring their application in the format mentioned below giving full details of academic records and experience along with attested photocopies as well as original copies of relevant documents.
Research Associate – 01 post
Emolument: Rs 22000/month + 30% HRA
Essential Qualifications: - Candidate with Doctorate or having three years research experience and M.Sc./M. tech in Biotechnology or in Life Sciences /Plant Breeding and/or Genetics /Ag. Botany/Biochemistry with molecular Biology as a subject
Age Limit: 35 years
Research Associate – 01 post
Emolument: 1 Rs 22000/month + 30% HRA
Essential Qualifications: - Candidate with Doctorate or having three years research experience and M.Sc./M. tech in Plant Breeding and/or Genetics/Ag. Botany/Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with Plant breeding/ Genetics as a subject
Age Limit: 35 years
Field/Lab Assistant – 01 post
Emolument: Rs. 10000/month
Essential Qualifications: - 10th passed. Practical experience of laboratory & field work such as assisting in sample preparation, quality analysis etc., preparing and tying labels, hybridization work in the field. First three ranking fellows will be given to do specific task in a given time. Final Selection will be based on practical performance.
Age Limit: 25 years
Terms and conditions:
Extension to OBC and women candidate will be given as per rules.
The above posts are temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year at a time. There is no provision of re-engagement after termination of the project/ scheme.
The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the post is co-terminus with respective project / schemes.
No TA / DA is payable for attending the interview.
