Post Name : Chief Engineer (Civil)

Pay Scale : 70,000/- P.m Fixed



Qualification : Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (under 10+2+3/4+2 scheme) or an equivalent professional qualification. A certificate/diploma in CAD/CAM and Automated Project Management Systems may be an added advantage. Consistently good academic record and sound knowledge of Civil Project Design and implementation. Should have good communication skills in English.

Age : Preferably below 60 years.  If retired, upper limit can be up to 62 years.

Post Name : Stores & Purchase Officer

Pay Scale : 30,850/- min.

Qualification: Degree in materials management (under 10+2+3/4 scheme) or any Degree with two years Diploma in materials management. For those who have experience of at least 3 years as Stores In-charge with responsibility of purchase or as Purchase Officer, in large government departments/public sector establishments/academic/research/commercial organization of national/international repute, a degree/diploma in materials management is not essential. Consistently good academic record is required.

Age: Not exceeding 40 years (45 years for SC/ST) as on the last date for receiving application. For candidates on deputation, age can be up to 50 years (including SC/ST).

GENERAL INFORMATION/CONDITIONS RELATED TO ADVERTISED NON-FACULTY POSITIONS.

1. Applications in Prescribed Format complete in all respects along with self-attested copies of certificates (including experience certificate) and marksheets should be received at the following address by post/courier on or before October 01, 2013. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.

2 . Interested candidates may also send a scanned copy of their filled & signed application in the prescribed Format and duly signed other relevant documents, in advance to the following   e-mail id: personnel@iimrohtak.ac.in .
3 . Applications not submitted in the Prescribed Application Format and without candidate’s signature will not be entertained.
4 . Applicants who have applied earlier in the last one year need not apply again.
5. The above position requires a near 24×7 commitment to the Institute. Therefore, candidates willing to dedicate themselves fully to the Institute are expected to apply.
6 . Based on the candidates’ suitability, the position will be either on regular scale of pay or contractual basis (fixed consolidated monthly salary).
7 . The Institute at its own discretion may conduct Written Test/Interview for any of the posts.
8 . Those who are in regular service in government/public sector establishments may be required to produce a No Objection Certificate if called for interview.
9 . The SC/ST candidates are required to attach the Caste certificate in the format prescribed by Government of India and issued by competent authority.
10. Specified relaxation in age/experience will be given to SC/ST candidates.
11. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
12. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications/eligibility and experience will not confer any right to the candidates for being called for interview or/and for his/her selection.
13. The Institute solely reserves the right not to fill any advertised position without assigning any reason. The Institute will also reserve the right to limit the total number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Institute in this regard will be final.
14. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview.
15. The Institute shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by a candidate at the time of appointment and at any time during the tenure of service. In case it is found at any time that any of the documents submitted by the candidate are falsified or tampered or the candidate has doubtful antecedents/background and has suppressed the said information, then his/her services can be terminated.
16. The Institute shall not be responsible for any postal delay.
17. No TA/DA or any other allowance will be paid by the Institute for attending the interview.
18. Candidates are required to bring all original certificates of their academic and professional qualifications and work experience for verification on the date of interview.
