Common Skill Test (CST) For Selection Posts of JHT/Senior Translator To Be Held On 18.12.2011Commission has decided to conduct Common Skill Test (CST) for recruitment to following Selection Posts of JHT/Senior Translator on 18.12.2011:-
The scheme of the Test will be as under:-
SUBJECT (Conventional Type)
Translation - 2 Passages, one each from Hindi to English and vice versa and an Essay each in Hindi & English
NUMBER OF MARKS : 200
Duration :02 hours
Timings :02.00 PM to 04.00 PM
The paper will contain two passages for translation-one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English to test the candidates’ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly, precisely and effectively.
