Director General of School Education, Panchkula (Haryana) is inviting applications for the posts of Special Educators or Resource Teachers across the State on contract basis. There are 435 posts in total and these are distributed equally to the positions of Special Educators in the categories of Mentally Challenged, Visually Challenged and Hearing Impaired. Candidates have to apply in the prescribed format available on the website. All the candidates should strictly use the prescribed format only and any other format of application will be summarily rejected. Candidates will be selected based on the procedure drawn by the department of school education. Here are details of vacancies, qualifications and application procedure:
A. Special Educator( Mentally Challenged): 145 posts
B. Special Educator (Visually Challenged): 145 posts
C. Special Educator (Hearing Impaired) : 145 posts
Educational Qualifications: Applicants should be Graduates with at least 50 percent marks and should have B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (General) with along with two years Diploma in Special Education. Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in relevant subject with minimum 50 percent marks along with B.Ed. (Special Education) OR B.Ed (General) with 2 years diploma in Special Education qualification also can apply. OR those candidates with PG in the relevant subject and minimum 50 percent marks along with diploma in special Education are also eligible to apply. All the candidates should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit upto Matric standard. They should have RCI recognised qualification in special education. Applicant's age should be between 17- 40 years.
Working teachers with qualifications in single disability area will be encouraged to specialize in other disability areas. Candidates with Knowledge of computer will be preferred. Selected candidates will get consolidated emoluments Rs. 18000 per month for those having B.Ed. Special Education and Rs. 15000 per month for those having diploma in special education.
