Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER), Mumbai is recruiting candidates for the posts of Scientific Assistant and Tradesmen 'A' cum Laboratory Assistants. SAMEER is an autonomous institute of the department of Information Technology and a premier Research and Development institute of Govt. of India. The institute is specialized in microwave electronics, medical electronics, atmospheric instrumentation, opto - electronics and millimeter wave technology. The SAMEER has centers at Chennai and Kolkata apart from its headquarter at Mumbai. Following are details of present recruitment of SAMEER:
1) Scientific Assistant A: 04 posts,
Qualification: Applicants should have First class with minimum 60 percent marks in Diploma in Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical or DERE from any recognized institute.
Age should be below 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 - 20200 with GP of Rs. 2800.
2) Tradesmen A cum Laboratory Assistant A: 06 posts;
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 - 20200 with GP of Rs. 1900,
Qualifications: For Tradesmen A, candidates should have SSC with ITI in trades a) Fitter b) Turner C) Electronic Mechanic d) Machinist and NCTVT with minimum 60 percent marks. Candidates with experience in the respective trade with CNN Machine Operating Experience will be preferred. For the posts of Laboratory Assistant A, applicants should have passed in 12th class with science as main subject and must have secured minimum 60 percent marks. Candidates with experience in scientific institutions are preferable. Age should be below 30 years.
Short listed candidate will be called for written test and those qualified in written exam will be invited for trade test and personal interview.
