RYK - Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu - Beware of Fake Training Institutes

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has alerted the job aspirants who are seeking employment under Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme to keep away from the fake institutes and training centers. The concerned officail of RYK Programmes are also warned the fake institutes against exploitation of the job aspirants under the Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme. The authorities at the Government have also announced that the Govt. will file criminal cases against fake training institutes.



The warning came in the light of several complaints made by job seekers. The training institutions have mushroomed across the state of Andhra Pradehs and are exploiting the unemployed youth with false promises of providing assured jobs under the RYK scheme. The institutes are collecting amounts up to Rs 10000 for a 2-3 month course through dubious guarantees on placements under RYK programme.

The Government has also decided to introduce bio-metric attendance system to check fake institutes. It will also facilitate the Government to monitor the attendance of candidates undergoing training in authorised training centres. As per the guidelines of the RYK, the candidates registered for the RYK scheme will get free training in authorised training centers. The Government has already opened over 600 RYK training centres across the state for this purpose.

The government only will bear the training cost of up to Rs 10000 per each candidate. All these details were disclosed by Prof K.C. Reddy, vice-chairman of Rajiv Education and Employment Council of Andhra Pradesh. REECAP is functioning as the nodal agency for the RYK scheme. It is also learnt that the much hyped handing over of appointment letters to one lakh youth anytime in December 2011 may be postponed to next year.
