Punjab Information and Communication Technology Education Society (PICTES), Chandigarh is inviting applications for the recruitment of 700 Computer Faculty for Punjab ICT Education Society. All the posts will be filled on contractual basis and the selected candidates have to serve anywhere in Punjab. The posts in the Punjab ICT Education Society will be considered regular after three years of Continuous Services. Posts will be renewed after one year based on the performance of the candidate. Salary for the selected candidates during contract is Rs. 10,000/- per month. After training, they will be appointed on the pay scale of Rs. 10300-34800 Grade Pay 3800 plus allowances. Approximate salary will be Rs. 30000/- per month.

(Information system/ Science) or BMIT or AMIE examination of IETE in Computer Science and Engineering or MCA or M.Sc. (IT / Computer Science / Software /Software System) or MIS or MIT or M.Tech. Minimum qualifying marks in the computer eligibility test will be 35 for General category and 20 for all other reserve categories.
